BEACON 1 : AIRPORT BEACON BEACON 2 : HELIPORT BEACON Compliance with standards The Airport Rotating Beacon identifies the location of an airport from a distance and is designed for use at commercial and regional The rotating beacon consists of two main assemblies; an upper part with a rotating shaft equipped with three (heliports) or four (airport) high intensity lamp units and a base part with motor, gear assembly, control unit and electrical connections.
