va-Q-pur Product Data Sheet Characteristics va-Q-pur's core material is a special 100% open-pure polyurethane foam, exclusively available for va-Q-tec. Due its light weight va-Q-pur can be used in various application fields such as transport containers. Its core is wrapped in a gas impermeable barrier film, evacuated in low gas pressure chamber and sealed. The barrier film ensures that va-Q-pur keeps its necessary low gas pressure level for the desired time period. In general, va-Q-pur is produced in rectangular shapes with our patented va-Q-seam technique. va-Q-pur also can be produced with recessed surfaces. Other shapes are available upon request.
