Characteristics
va-Q-pur is made from a unique 100% open-pure polyurethane foam, designed for lightweight applications such as transport containers. It is encased in a gas-impermeable barrier film, evacuated in a low-pressure chamber, and sealed to maintain low gas pressure over time. Typically produced in rectangular shapes using the patented va-Q-seam technique, it can also be customized with recessed surfaces or other shapes upon request.

Applications
va-Q-pur is ideal for use in freezers, refrigerators, and thermal transport packaging. It can be combined with conventional polyurethane foam systems without affecting its thermal or mechanical properties. The product's shape retention, stability, and surface quality are key features. Custom applications can be discussed with va-Q-tec.
