TECHNOLOGY A specific turbine, installed on the dispenser piping, is driven by the hydrant flow during the refuelling operations. This energy is converted to electricity by an alternator to charge high capacity and smart batteries. Then, the electrical power is used to drive all the key operational and safety features of the hydrant dispenser, without using the diesel engine of the chassis.
