Procedure
  1. Secure the Easy Drain™ around the oil filter by tightening the butterfly knob until it is snug against the filter. Ensure it is positioned at the lowest part of the oil filter can for optimal drainage.
  2. Attach a hose to the bottom of the t-handle and twist the t-handle to puncture the filter. Then, back the t-handle out to its original position to allow the oil to drain.
  3. Drain the oil into a pan. The process is slow due to the saturation of the media pack with oil, so patience is required.
