1.1 Identification
The TEP 400E is an electric elevating platform designed for high-altitude work. It is manufactured by TECNOFLY SRL, with its legal headquarters in P.zza Ruggero Bonghi, 5, and operational headquarters in Loc. Paduni zona ASI, 03012 Anagni (Fr).

1.3 Standards and Classification
The platform is designed and constructed in compliance with applicable CEE directives for safety and harmonization of member states' legislation, specifically:

1.4 Classification
The machine is designed for an expected number of work cycles N2 (200,000 to 600,000) with an average load regime S2. A complete overhaul and verification by the manufacturer are required within the expected cycle number. In cases of particularly heavy use, the overhaul should be anticipated.

1.5 Equipment Description
The platform consists of:
- An anchoring base with 14 mm class 10.9 anchoring plates and bolts.
- An electric motor for platform lifting, with characteristics depending on the platform type and load to be elevated.
- Rear stabilizer feet that stabilize the ascent, descent, and stationary position at height.
- An electric extension system with three cylinders, maximum extension of 2900 mm.
- A fully protected platform with perimeter tubular guardrails forming a 1330 m cage, with a non-slip floor.
- Control panels on the platform and base, including an emergency button, on/off switch, extension and retraction levers, and stabilizer levers.
- The platform requires two operators: one on the ground and one at height. The operator on the platform deactivates the emergency button, extends the feet, and once they are securely anchored, a release valve enables height extension up to 4000 mm from the ground. Longitudinal movement of 320 mm is allowed at height for easier access to the work area. After work, the operator retracts the platform and stabilizer feet before reactivating the emergency button.
- An essential ground control panel is available for the ground operator to act in case of necessity, clearly indicated by signage.
