Product catalog summary
Introduction
The Loustic 2 is a tandem passenger harness designed for paragliding, requiring the presence and expertise of a pilot. It complies with European and German safety standards (EN 1651: 2018 and LTF Nfl II 91/09). Users are advised to adjust the harness on static hang-posts before the first flight.

Technical Specifications
The harness is available in one size, suitable for children aged 3 to 6 years, with a pilot height range of 80-110 cm and weight range of 8-20 kg. It weighs 1.15 kg and is designed exclusively for paragliding, with a maximum in-flight weight of 50 kg. It is not suitable for aerobatic flying or as a reserve parachute.

Components and Assembly
The harness includes a polypropylene seat plate, self-locking carabiners, and a teddy bear pocket. Proper assembly involves installing the seat plate and carabiners, and inserting comfort foam.

Adjustments
Adjustments are crucial before each takeoff. This includes adjusting shoulder straps and backrest for optimal comfort and posture.

Flight Phases
Pre-flight checks involve ensuring all equipment is undamaged and settings are correct. During takeoff, maintain a vertical posture. In-flight, ensure stability and check equipment regularly. For landing, adopt a running posture and land upwind.

Towing
Towing requires a quick release and consultation with a competent towing outfit for safety recommendations.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning with mild agents is recommended. Carabiners and buckles should be checked regularly, especially in dusty or marine environments. The harness should be stored in a dry, cool place away from UV exposure.

Warranty and Disclaimer
SUPAIR offers a five-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. The harness is designed exclusively for paragliding, and SUPAIR is not responsible for misuse or decisions made during paragliding activities.

Pilot's Gear
Pilots should wear certified helmets, appropriate clothing, and carry a reserve parachute.

Service Book
A section is provided for recording maintenance and resale information.

Harness User’s manual | LOUSTIC 2 Harness cleaning and maintenance It is a good idea to clean your harness from time to time. We recommend using a brush and soft solvents only ( soap or mild cleaning agents ). Rinse thoroughly. Never use aggressive chemicals such as strong solvents which could be harmful to the harness’s fabric, webbings, stitching and weaken its integrity. The zip fasteners should be lubricated from time to time, using a silicon spray. If you regularly use your harness in a dusty environment ( dirt, sand, etc... ), we advise you to regularly check and maintain your carabiners...
