Product catalog summary
Description: The patented combination ground power unit (GPU) is designed for ground use to perform engine starting and maintenance functions. It provides 28.5V of continuous clean power when plugged into a 220V AC wall power. The unit features a Quick Change design for easy battery replacement without tools or downtime. An optional all-weather cover is available to protect the unit from poor weather conditions.
Specifications: The Model 3324QC-200 amp GPU combines a power supply and battery bank. It includes 52 Amp Hours at a 10-hour rate, 24 Volt DC with sealed, non-hazardous cells, and a peak output of 2800 Amps. The power supply offers 200 amps DC continuous output at 28.5 Volts with over-voltage, over-current, and reverse polarity protection. The battery recharge time is between 1-4 hours, and it requires a 220 Volts AC input.
Features: The GPU provides 2800 peak starting amps and a continuous 200 amps DC output. It has a large battery capacity for extended usage without AC power. The unit weighs 200 lbs and can be pulled by hand or tug. It includes a brake system activated by locking the handle upright. Users are advised to recharge the GPU until the charger green light appears and to use a #12 or larger AC extension cord.
Limitations: When using more than 200 continuous amps, the batteries compensate until depleted, which can cause voltage oscillation and potential damage to aircraft components. The unit dimensions are L 38″ x W 21″ x H 20″ with a handle height of 48″.
Warranty and Support: All Start Pac™ products come with a 1-year warranty on workmanship and materials, excluding batteries. For technical assistance, contact Jim Wurth, Chief Engineer/Product Designer/Pilot.

On most aircraft, a low voltage relay will drop below a preset level. Once the GPU is dropped off, its voltage will rise and will be accepted again by the aircraft, then will immediately drop off again. This oscillation can cause damage to aircraft components. The following dimensions apply to each of the 3300s: L 38″ x W 21″ x H 20″/L 96.52cm x W 53.34cm x H 50.8cm; Handle Height 48″/121.92cm....
