It is designed for engine starting only. This portable starting unit is one of our most popular starters for use at home base and in the field. It will start turbine, or piston engines up to 1500 horsepower. This versatile 24 volt Twin Pac can be used as a single unit or separated for two complete units that can be easily carried on board different aircraft. It is equipped with universal chargers that will accept 90-240 VAC at 50/60 hertz with a recharge time of less than 3.5 hours.
