This unit is designed to be used for busy maintenance locations that require multiple daily or repeated back to back locomotive engine starts. The 214RR will reduce operating costs by improving safety and efficiency in the field. This unit can be truck mounted to service trucks or can be easily maneuvered by forklift. The 214RR is comprised of a large battery bank for repeated locomotive jump starting and comes with a special high tech charger. The unit should always be recharged after use and left plugged in when not in operation to gain the maximum life and use of the unit. The charger will monitor the battery and maintain 100% charge without overcharging it.
