Product catalog summary
Applications
The VSU 38/L is designed for refuelling and petroleum industry logistics, including equipment for refuelling vehicles, motor-pumps, distribution systems, and collapsible storage tanks. It facilitates fast connection of fuel supply hoses and is also used for cooling electronics, motors, and water chillers.
Design and Functionality
The VSU 38 is a symmetrical quick-release coupling, eliminating the need for male/female differentiation. It allows hoses to be connected from either end without error. The system features lugs for quick and safe locking, ensuring a direct fluid flow with an optimal flow rate/pressure drop ratio. Its ergonomic design includes a rotating shutoff to prevent stress on the coupling, and its lightweight aluminum construction enhances ease of handling.
Performance and Reliability
Manufactured with strict tolerances and quality procedures, the VSU 38 ensures reliability with features like material traceability, indelible identification markings, individual testing for operation and leak tightness, and availability of a Certificate of Conformity. Electrical continuity is maintained for safety, and a shock protection ring enhances durability.
Safety Features
The coupling ensures safe operation by allowing the circuit to open only when both parts are connected and preventing disconnection until both valves are closed. It includes a drain function for fluid release and offers two protective cap options: a leak-tight black metal cap and a non-leak-tight black plastic dust cap.
Operation Steps
1. Easy connection by aligning and rotating lugs.
2. Open the circuit by turning each valve a quarter turn.
3. Close the circuit by returning valves to original positions.
4. Safe disconnection by rotating to release lugs.
5. Drain the hose by pulling back the interlock and operating the valve.

Count on our technology... Applications Refuelling and petroleum industry logistics: - Equipment of refuelling vehicles, motor-pumps group, distribution systems and collapsible storage tanks - Fast connection of fuel supply hoses Cooling of: - Electronics - Motors - Water chillers 2 perfectly symmetrical parts The VSU 38 is a symmetrical quick-release coupling. There is therefore no male/female differential on the hoses to be connected as they are fitted with identical mating halves. Hoses can be connected from either end with no risk of error. Quick and simple connection The system of lugs ensures quick...

... for improved ease of use! A choice of two protective caps • Black metal protective seal cap Leak-tight protective cap that can be used under pressure. With the same locking lugs as the coupling, this protective cap provides a leak-tight seal even if the valve is opened. Shock protection To give this product optimum durability, both parts have a shock protection ring. Totally safe operation • The circuit can only be opened if both parts are connected. • The two parts cannot be disconnected until both valves are closed. Drain function The hose can be drained using the interlock under the coupling. When...

1. Easy connection Line up the lugs and rotate to connect them. 2. Opening the circuit Turn each valve a quarter turn to lock the connection and open the circuit. 3. Closing the circuit Return the valves to their original positions to unlock the connection and close the circuit. 4. Safe disconnection Simply rotate to release the lugs and separate the two parts. It is now no longer possible to open the circuit. 5. Draining the hose With the two parts disconnected, simultaneously pull back the interlock under the coupling and operate the valve: the valve opens and the fluid drains out. This operation...
