THREE LIVES Canyons Ski Resort City of South Jordan Jordan School District Arena at Wolf Mountain Public Works Bus Maintenance Facility Vehicle Maintenance THE LONG TERM VALUE OF A SPRUNG STRUCTURE This 88.6' x 230' Sprung structure is now in the possession of its third owner which demonstrates the versatility and the long term value of a Sprung structure. THE ARENA AT WOLF MOUNTAIN THE CANYONS SKI RESORT, PARK CITY UTAH. The first owner of this 88.6' x 230' Sprung structure was Wolf Mountain (now The Canyons Ski Resort). This non insulated structure was originally erected in 1994 and was utilized for concerts and roller hockey. The Sprung structure was an ideal solution given Utah's high wind and snow load conditions. During the construction for the upcoming Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympics, the structure was moved to make room for the new infrastructure necessary for the resort to host the 2002 Olympic Winter Games events. When The South Jordan City Council including the Mayor and concerned residents were presented the opportunity to purchase this structure, they were pleased with the low costs involved to purchase and retro fit the structure with insulation to effectively meet the needs of the City’s Public Works Division. Open the catalog to page 4there is white here 2009 – PRESENT THE JORDAN SCHOOL DISTRICT, WEST JORDAN, UTAH In October of 2008, The Jordan School District (the third owner) purchased the structure from the City of South Jordan and had the facility dismantled and stored for the remainder of the winter. In 2009, the Jordan School District purchased a new DuPont Tedlar Desert Sand exterior membrane complete with Brownstone Red wainscot and a partial replacement insulation package.
