Product Description
This document describes a high-strength aluminium alloy with 3.8 to 4.9% copper, available in extruded bar and profile form. It is solution heat-treated and stretched to achieve the T3511 condition, adhering to American standards and various Euronorms.

Poor resistance to atmospheric attack.
Surface Treatment
Anodising: Protective - Fair, Bright - Variable, Hard - Good, Colour - Fair (Dark Colours Only)
Plating: Very Good
Vitreous Enamelling: Unsuitable
Weldability
Brazing & Soldering, Oxygen, Inert Gas - Not Recommended
Resistance, Spot, Beam - Excellent
