Safety information Intended use The device is an intelligent, opto-electronic SICK ID sensor and is used for automatic, fixed identification and decoding of bar codes on moving or stationary objects. The data content of the decoded bar codes is sent by the device to a higher-level control (PLC) for further coordinating processing.
