The Absorber Tuning Unit (AT-Unit) is designed to manage cabin vibrations in the Airbus Helicopters AS 350 family by reducing vibrations caused by rotor rotation. It offers a cost-effective solution by eliminating the need for flight and fuel during maintenance.
Functionality
The AT-Unit operates on a static ground helicopter, using an inertial vibrator to generate vibrations and perform measurements. This helps in setting up the cabin anti-vibrator based on weight or position.
