This unit is available and PMA'd on Canadair Challenger 601-3A/3R, Falcon 50, Gulfstream G-Ill, MD-80, and 747-100, -200, -300 as well as many other aircraft types. The XL246-A is a direct replacement for the ACME AMPS 2000 on all these aircraft types. Batteries Our "pure lead" sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries provide excellent performance in extreme conditions. They can be stored for six months and require no scheduled maintenance. Diagnostics Continuous built-in test monitors charge/control logic, battery cell voltage and battery heater circuit. Environmental control Thermal blanket automatically controls battery ambient temperature to maximize performance.
