The TSO’d, FAA-approved Class A and Class B TAWS solution, Sandel’s ST3400 TAWS/RMI is the standard in TAWS performance. Reliable, affordable and easy to install, the ST3400 is a compact, self-contained unit that enhances pilot situational awareness as it helps avoid the problem of controlled flight into terrain (CFIT). As a drop-in replacement for your aircraft’s existing RMI unit, the 3-ATI ST3400 is the only TAWS that provides for a full-time terrain display in the pilot’s field of view. Combining terrain and traffic alerting with topographic mapping and navigation functions, the ST3400 is the only TAWS with a Predictive Altitude display mode, to give pilots a full-time view of their flight situation.
