Overview
The 912 iS Sport engine offers a blend of power and reliability, providing an optimal flight experience with a superior power-to-weight ratio. It is a 4-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that is both liquid and air-cooled, featuring opposed cylinders and a dry sump forced lubrication system with a separate oil tank. The engine includes automatic adjustment by hydraulic valve tappets, redundant electronic fuel injection and ignition, and an engine management system.
