Heavy duty waxy film for long term corrosion protection Product Overview Directions for Storage and Use ROCOL® AEROSPEC PROTECT Spray leaves a resilient, heavy duty waxy film for long term corrosion protection of all types of components and equipment particularly those operating in outdoor environments. AEROSPEC PROTECT Spray is chemically resistant and ideal for exposed metal components and machinery in storage both indoors and outdoors. AEROSPEC PROTECT Spray is highly resistant to water wash-off and provides excellent corrosion protection for a wide variety of applications commonly found throughout the manufacturing industry in many different types of arduous environments. Features and Benefits • AEROSPEC PROTECT Spray offers an excellent wide temperature resistance of -40°C to +120°C. • AEROSPEC PROTECT Spray deposits a white, non-toxic, film that is resistant to fuel, oils and greases. • AEROSPEC PROTECT Spray provides an excellent heavy duty, waxy film for long term corrosion protection of metals in harsh environments. • AEROSPEC PROTECT Spray provides a tenacious, highly adhesive, long lasting film for complete corrosion protection even when partially or fully submerged in warm or hot water. • ROCOL AEROSPEC PROTECT Spray is reinforced with PTFE. It can also be used as an anti-seize or lubricant in a variety of applications. Use in well ventilated areas and ensure there are no sources of ignition. Shake the aerosol well and continue shaking for 2 minutes after the agitator ball starts to rattle to ensure complete mixing before use. Test spray the aerosol initially to ensure a smooth even coating is applied. Apply a thin, even coating from a distance of 1530 cm (6-12 inches) in short bursts to provide a complete and thorough coating for maximum protection. The applied, thin film will be tack dry in approximately 1 minute after which a further thin coating can be applied if required. Best practice - assemble components after a minimum of 5 mins for optimum performance. The storage temperature should be kept below +40°C, and the storage area should be out of direct sunlight. Shelf life is 4 years from date of manufacture.
