Renegade Materials RM-2008 is a 250°F curing epoxy prepreg system designed for high-performance aerospace applications. It is a modified epoxy known for ease of processing, excellent tack, and drape characteristics, suitable for 200°F dry or 160°F wet service environments. The system is compatible with autoclave, vacuum bag/oven, or compression molding processes and is available in glass, quartz, or carbon forms.
- Cured Resin Properties: Density of 1.21 g/cc, Flex Strength of 25 ksi, Flex Modulus of 526 Msi, and Flex Strain to Failure of 5.0%.
- Glass Transition Temperature: Dry standard cure at 288°F, wet standard cure at 257°F, and dry post-cure at 302°F.
- E-Glass Fabric Prepreg: Tensile Strength of 77.8 ksi (RT Dry) and 46.0 ksi (160°F Wet), Tensile Modulus of 4.3 Msi (RT Dry) and 3.9 Msi (160°F Wet), Compression Strength of 80.0 ksi (RT Dry) and 51.4 ksi (160°F Wet), and Short Beam Shear Strength of 9.6 ksi (Dry) and 6.1 ksi (Wet).
- Std. Modulus Carbon Prepreg: Tensile Strength of 148 ksi (RT Dry) and 156 ksi (160°F Wet), Tensile Modulus of 10.6 Msi (RT Dry) and 10.3 Msi (160°F Wet), Compression Strength of 103 ksi (RT Dry) and 67.5 ksi (160°F Wet), and Short Beam Shear Strength of 9.8 ksi (Dry) and 6.9 ksi (Wet).
- Autoclave Cure Cycle: Apply 85 psi, vent vacuum at 30 psi, heat at 4°F/min to 250°F, hold for 90 minutes, then cool at 4°F/min to 150°F before releasing pressure.

Renegade Materials RM-2008 is a 250°F Curing Epoxy Prepreg System. A general purpose modified epoxy developed for ease of processing and excellent tack and drape characteristics.
