Originally developed to replace PMR-15 and its highly toxic diamine 4,4' methylenedianiline (MDA), these resins are void of mutagenic and carcinogenic components. The versatile chemistry of these systems can be tailored to balance thermal performance with processability. Versions of this chemistry can be processed by compression molding, autoclave, resin film infusion (RFI), solvent assisted resin transfer molding (saRTM), and conventional resin transfer molding (RTM).
