Corvid-50 Engine CE1224 Preliminary Datasheet Description The Corvid-50 (known as the B50i engine in the US) is the newest two stroke engine system co-developed by Currawong and Power4Flight, beginning production in June 2016. Based on the Desert Aircraft DA-50, it features a custom throttle body and inlet manifold and utilizes Currawong’s mature electronic fuel injection system. Incorporating engineering design proven on Currawong’s Corvid-29 engine system, the Corvid-50 will deliver reliable and efficient performance across the range of operating parameters. The Corvid-50 system will include all components for integration into the aircraft, including the base engine, exhaust, induction and throttle system, ignition unit, ECU, fuel delivery and injection system, sensors and optional generator and power supply.
