We’ve been following him closely ever since he left France in 2008 by pedalling to and then across Spain and Morocco, then sailed from Africa to South America and started biking across the continent. 3/4 of the way around the country counter clockwise to the North. From there it was into Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and China. He rode across the Middle East into Turkey, Greece, and up the coast of the Adriatic Sea back into Europe and his starting point in France. Just our legs and thermals, sometimes a boat to cross the sea. Our luggage: tents, sleeping bags, a heavy bag of camera equipment and 3 Ultralights with OZO and F*Lite harnesses. Our friend, team pilot, and Red Bull X-Alps competitor Dave Turner has completed FIVE laps across the Alps. Two of his five laps started in the west and went east, two included going completely around the Slovenian Alps, with this last two starting in Salzburg and following the 2015 X Alps route, once in preperation for the race and once for the actual competition.
