Due to the different mass weights of the work pieces and the media, a separation can be done automatically within a few minutes by a water jet. The flow rate of the water can be adapted on the different work piece-media mixtures - the bigger the difference of the specific gravity between the work pieces and the chips the easier the separation will be because a higher flow rate can be chosen. The work pieces will be collected in a drawer and the chips in a container.
