UNA PLANCIA COMANDI DI ALTA CLASSE REALIZZATA ATTRAVERSO LA SINERGIA TRA LA COMPETENZA DI UNO STAMPISTA E LE PRESTAZIONI AVANZATE DI UN SOFTWARE CAM. A HIGH-CLASS INSTRUMENT PANEL CREATED AS A RESULT OF THE SYNERGY BETWEEN THE SKILLS OF A MOULD-MAKER AND THE ADVANCED PERFORMANCE LEVELS OF CAM SOFTWARE. 1. 1. Con l’ausilio di hyperMill la Gianoplast ha recentemente realizzato una plancia comandi per yacht in un monoblocco di resina stratificata. 2. È stata eseguita una lavorazione a 360° per fornire un risultato ‘a vista’ sia per la parte anteriore sia per quella posteriore. 1. Nel caso poi si tratti di componenti di stile come quelli per il settore nautico, dove le forme progettate prevedono geometrie sofisticate e superfici di qualità superiore è indispensabile scegliere un CAM dalle prestazioni avanzate, in grado di supportare l’utente con adeguate strategie di processo e lavorazioni in piena sicurezza. Per realizzare una plancia comandi destinata ad un innovativo yacht dei cantieri Wider, Gianoplast si è avvalsa dei potenti strumenti presenti in hyperMill, software CAM di Open Mind Technologies che permette di programmare la lavorazione completa, anche dei pezzi più complessi, da un unico programma CAM. “Quando abbiamo iniziato ad usare hyperMill – ricorda Claudio Fioroni, con Antonio Baroni titolare di Gianoplast – lo facevamo in maniera quasi ‘clandestina’: terminato l’orario di produzione sperimentavamo la possibilità di usare la fresatrice a 5 assi con un software CAM per realizzare i modelli fino a quel momento prodotti in legno artigianalmente. Per una società come la nostra, specializzata nella termoformatura e nella produzione di parti in vetroresina, lavorare con geometrie complesse e secondo le posizioni più difficili è la normalità, pertanto avevamo bisogno di un software che supportasse efficacemente le lavorazioni a 5 assi. L’esperienza positiva fatta con hyperMill in tanti anni di attività ci ha portato a stringere con Open Mind una sorta di sodalizio che ci ha condotto all’acquisto anche dell’ultimo modulo hyperMaxx per la sgrossatura ad alte prestazioni. For a company like ours, which specialises in thermoforming and making parts out of fibreglass, working with complex geometries and in the most difficult positions is par for the course, therefore, we needed a form of software that could effectively support 5-axis machining.
