Power conversion Power generation Magnetics Sensors AC Generator Model 5422 Model 5422 is a custom designed permanent magnetic generator that provides electrical power over a wide speed range for a FADEC system used on a business jet engine. The rotor is a sealed segmented unit employing a high energy magnet. The specially epoxied coated stator laminations and windings are held in place by a stainless steel housing designed for engine pad mounting. The generator shares a common shaft for a hydraulic pump and is driven from an engine accessory gear box.
