The Low Intensity Obstruction Light complies with ICAO Annex 14 - Volume I, FAA L-810 AC150/5345-43, and NATO STANAG 3346 standards.
These lights are low intensity, omnidirectional, elevated, and steady-burning, available in single or double configurations. They are used for air navigation obstruction marking and can be powered by 24 V, 48 V, or 230 V in parallel. Field positioning must comply with ICAO, STANAG, or FAA requirements.
The fixture features a cast aluminum body with an adjustable lampholder, a symmetric Fresnel red lens made of heat-resistant glass, and a neoprene gasket. It includes a metallic ring for easy lamp replacement and a grounding screw. The SO2 model includes a watertight aluminum box for mounting.
Available lamps include 60 W, 75 W, or 100 W with an E27 base and a rated life of 8000 hours for 230 V, and 1000 hours for 24 V or 50 V. Quick relamping is possible without special tools.
Systems can be powered by a watertight control box with transfer relays and signal lamps. Automatic photoelectric control is available for obstruction marker systems.
Standard installation is on a 1” pole diameter. Baseplate or special flange for wall mounting is available upon request.
The ordering code includes fixture type (single or double), lamp type, transfer relay options, and additional options like connection boxes or mounting flanges.
Various control boxes are available for different configurations of double obstruction lights. Renewal parts include lampholders, transfer relays, lamps, lenses, and gaskets.
