Overview
Northwest UAV (NWUAV) specializes in propulsion and payload integration for UAVs, offering a Custom Engine Test Cell (CETC) that is self-contained and customizable for testing UAV engines. The CETC is available in 20 or 40 feet container lengths and can be housed inside or outside a facility.

Hardware Specifications
The CETC features sound dampening insulation and optional hatches for larger airframes. Key components include a low-pressure gravity feed fuel system, heavy-duty blowers for cooling, an exhaust fan, and an optional exhaust gas analyzer system for measuring CO, CO2, HC, and O2. It also includes a camera system with PTZ cameras and a DVR, emergency stops for safety, and remote operation capabilities.

Testing Capabilities
The CETC can perform various tests such as engine durability, endurance, performance, and FAR 33 endurance. It is customizable for specific applications and approved for export, with worldwide delivery and setup available.

Electronics & Software
The CETC includes a Data Acquisition (DAQ) system with an operator control panel and selectable sample rates. Measurement capabilities include torque, fuel flow, ambient pressure and temperature, relative humidity, exhaust gas temperature, cylinder head temperature, engine speed (RPM), brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC), and horsepower. Optional measurements include thrust, in-cylinder pressure mapping, and exhaust gas carbon monoxide.

Additional Features
The CETC offers generator electronic loading and optional side hatches for testing entire airframes. NWUAV provides on-site turn-key engine test solutions with operators available for purchase or lease.
