Product catalog summary
Headset Operation:
  • Adjust the microphone boom to either side of the head.
  • Set the volume control to minimum before connecting to the device.
  • Ensure the headband is secure and earseals are centered over the ears.
  • Position the microphone 0-6 mm from the lips for optimal noise cancellation.
  • Connect the headset to the KENWOOD TK2100 radio jack.
  • Adjust volume to a comfortable level.
Noise Attenuation Data:
  • Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is provided as per U.S. EPA standards, ranging from 0 to 30 dB.
  • Attenuation varies across frequencies, with higher numbers indicating better noise reduction.

Cautions:
  • Ensure proper fit for effective noise attenuation.
  • Eyeglasses may reduce attenuation; use thin temples.
  • NRR may not accurately reflect protection in impulsive noise areas; consider additional ear protection.
  • Maintain and clean the headset regularly without immersing in water.
