Integrated Functionality Proven In-Service Operations NAVCANplan products are built on a proven platform developed by NAV CANADA – the Company that owns and operates Canada’s civil air navigation system (ANS). NAV CANADA provides air navigation services for more than 12 million aircraft movements each year – the world’s second largest ANS by traffic volume. NAVCANplan consists of two systems. The Collaborative Flight Planning System (CFPS) is an internet flight planning system for pilots and dispatchers to file, amend, delay or cancel a flight plan online. The Flight Information Management System (FIMS) provides flight planning and alerting capabilities, and weather information to flight information centres. To deal with challenging environments and to continue to optimize operations, our engineers, air traffic controllers and flight service specialists develop flexible and scalable technology solutions, like the NAVCANplan products. Then we use these systems in our daily operations to complement and enhance the way we work.
