Runway System Two to four sensor systems are mounted outside the runway safety area exclusion zone. Each sensor includes a millimeter wave radar and a MIL-SPEC day/night camera system with an infrared illuminator. All sensors are networked together to provide thorough coverage for runway surfaces.
