Simulator Training for Airside Drivers The Airside Driver Trainer (ADT) simulator provides a safe, versatile, and dynamic ‘hands-on’ learning environment for all types of airfield drivers. The ADT helps to: reduce vehicle runway incursions, increase safety, reduce the costs of vehicle/aircraft damage and minimise interruptions to operations. Training outcomes can be delivered safely without tying up operational staff and at similar or lower running costs to that of a conventional airside training vehicle. By practicing in different virtual scenarios, such as Low Visibility Operations (LVO), drivers gain essential skills and familiarity with procedures and hazards that transfer quickly to their live working environment.
