The outputs from these are provided in ARINC 429 format as raw pressure data. Meggitt Avionics air data unit (ADU) LRU is housed in case size 3.25 x 3.25 x 5.54 inches (overall length including connectors). Location close to the pitot/static ports is recommended to enhance performance and provide the lowest cost installation by minimizing pneumatic pipe lengths. • Lightweight • Extremely robust • Installation in any orientation • This unit can be located in any part of the aircraft, in pressurized or un-pressurized areas of the airframe.
