Introduction
Maritime Robotics introduces the OceanNet add-on module for the OceanEye® system, enhancing aerial maritime surveillance capabilities. OceanNet allows multiple users on supporting vessels to access imagery and data from the OceanEye® Sensor unit.

Operational Testing
The OceanNet has been tested in collaboration with NOFO (Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies) and is designed for easy portability and setup.

System Components
  • Base Unit: Transmits data/imagery from OceanEye® to supporting vessels using an omni-directional radio network.
  • Viewer Terminal: Rugged terminals with touch-based OverView software for real-time data access on vessels.
  • Network - RX: Includes radio receiver, antennas, and Viewer Terminal, all in a portable ruggedized unit.
  • Network - TX: Comprises network radio, antennas, and a video server, in an easily transportable unit.
  • Sensor Unit: Features a triple sensor unit (EO/IR/AIS) for real-time day and night video and imagery, with an elevated AIS receiver for enhanced ship detection.
  • OceanEye® Balloon: A helium-filled balloon with a stabilizing wing and tail section for robust and reliable aerial surveillance.

Customization Options
The OceanNet can be equipped with either conventional rod antennas or directional antennas, depending on the customer's radio range requirements.

OceanNet Maritime Robotics is proud to introduce the OceanNet add-on module to the OceanEye® system for aerial maritime surveillance. The OceanNet is offered as an addon module to the OceanEye® and is designed for easy portability and set-up. The OceanNet lets several users on supporting vessels view the imagery and data captured from the elevated OceanEye® Sensor unit. The OceanNet can be delivered with both conventional rod antennas and directional antennas, based on the customers requirement for radio range of the OceanNet. The OceanNet has been tested and proven in operations in cooperation with NOFO - Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies. OCEANEYE® BALLOON Helium-filled balloon carries the sensor unit for persistent aerial surveillance. With its stabilizing wing and tail section it has been found to be more robust and reliable compared to more conventional spherical or round balloons. VIEWER TERMINAL SENSOR UNIT Rugged Viewer terminals with touch based OverView software can be located on every vessel that requires realtime data from the OceanEye®. Triple sensor unit (EO/IR/AIS). Real-time day & night video and imagery. Elevated AIS receiver for increased ship detection range. BASE UNIT The OceanNet Receiver RX system consist of the radio receiver, antennas and the Viewer Terminal. The system is packed in a small portable ruggedized unit The OceanNet Base TX system consists of the network radio, antennas and a video server. The system is packed in an easy transportable unit.
