Turnstiles for ticket inspection For large numbers of people MPP turnstiles are the right choice for public transport facilities where large numbers of people have to be reliably individualised and their tickets checked. The robust housing and stainless steel barrier arms not only resist improper use, but are also suitable for outdoor operation (optional). MPP turnstiles are versatile: a large number of people can easily be managed with one of the many applications available, while bi-directional operation permits a single turnstile to act as both entrance and exit. The barrier arm automatically returns to its original position after the emergency contact is released again or power returns. MPP turnstiles can be controlled using all common access control systems and are available with three housing variants. Free escape routes With the Drop-Arm option, the upper barrier arm folds down if there is a power cut or emergency signal, allowing free passage. The arm is automatically restored to its original position after the contact has been released again or power has returned. Easily accessible components All the control and drive components necessary for operation are accommodated in the upper housing of the MPP – considerably simplifying commissioning and maintenance.
