KLB
The LTG KLB is a highly-tight shut-off damper designed for hermetic sealing of air flows, suitable for use in cleanrooms, hospitals, laboratories, and ships. It is installed in air duct systems with a horizontal damper axis, with other installation types requiring consultation with LTG Aktiengesellschaft.
The damper meets the requirements of DIN 1946 Sheet 4 for airtight dampers, with a leakage air rate that is too low to report. It features a self-reinforcing sealing effect, becoming more effective with increasing pressure. The damper blade uses a 4-joint link mechanism for sealing, with a radial shaft-sealing ring ensuring reliability.
The KLB is available in round versions with diameters ranging from 224 mm to 1000 mm. Standard versions are made of galvanized steel, with special versions available in stainless steel for aggressive media. Options include manual or electric actuators and limit switches for position indication.
