FAA-PMA Eliminator Filter

FAA-PMA Eliminator Filter

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Lone Star Aviation DC Eliminator Filter is an FAA-PMA approved device designed to address electronic noise issues in aircraft. It effectively reduces noise from various sources such as alternators, strobes, beacons, HVAC systems, DC motors, and electronic fuel pumps.
Specifications: The filter is rated for a maximum of 10-Amps at 32 VDC. It is housed in a square metal enclosure and utilizes capacitance and inductance to allow only straight line DC to power sensitive electronics. This design helps minimize or eliminate a wide range of electronic noise frequencies.
Applications: The Eliminator Filter is suitable for rotor-craft, aircraft, and military vehicles. It is particularly effective in eliminating power line noise that can interfere with radar, strike-finders, storm scopes, audio panels, intercom systems, and radio packages.
Installation: The filter can be installed at the affected component or at the noise source, providing flexibility in addressing noise issues.
Additional Features: The filter also offers surge suppression to protect on-board electronics from power surges and spikes.
Product Details: The Eliminator Filter is priced at $150.00, with a SKU of 122253-10A. It falls under the category of Filters and has dimensions of 8 × 6 × 4 inches, weighing 30 oz.

FAA-PMA Eliminator Filter-1

FAA-PMA Eliminator Filter Lone Star Aviation DC Eliminator Filter is a FAA-PMA approved solution for aircraft electronic noise problems ranging from annoying alternator whine, strobe and rotating beacon noise, AC HVAC, DC motors, electronic fuel pumps and many other sources producing electronic noise. The Eliminator filter is the best power line conditioner, “noise filter” currently on the market today for rotor-craft, aircraft and military vehicles. Although it is packaged in a square metal enclosure that looks similar to other noise suppression filters, the similarities stop with appearances. This components allowing only straight line DC to power sensitive on-board electronics. Low frequency audible noise is best reduced or eliminated by DC filters using large inductance values. Since the Eliminator utilizes inductance and capacitance , a wider frequency range of electronic noise can be minimized or eliminated. The Eliminator is been successful in the elimination of power line noise that affects the operation of radar, strike-finders, storm scopes, audio panels, intercom systems, and radio packages. The Eliminator’s surge suppression characteristics can a

protect on-board aircraft electronics from power surges and spikes. The possibilities for installing the Eliminator for noise suppression are endless. When you suspect power line noise problems, consider the Eliminator Filter as the solution. The Eliminator is rated to 10-Amps (max) at 32 VDC and can be easily installed at the affected component or, if applicable, at the source of the noise.
