W-3A Sokół The W-3A Sokół helicopter is a 6 tonne class twin-engine helicopter optimised for utility and aerial work operations, capable of carrying up to 12 passengers and 2 pilots. MAINTAINABILITY The W-3A Sokół allows easy maintenance thanks to: • Engines and main gearbox assembled as a single unit and mounted on the fuselage • Engine cowlings, each capable of carrying the weight of up to two technicians, can be used as maintenance platforms • Sliding transmission cowling allowing easy access to the powerplant • Cockpit flat upper deck can be used as a work floor.
