Machining and ultrasonic cutting of honeycomb core The CRENO HSC 5 Axis is Creno core business. The 5 axis is the most common machine used for composite machining but for 40 years, Creno acquired a strong know-how and continuously improved this equipment. This basic machine has been turned by our R&D department into a complete solution 2 in 1 offering versatility and efficiency. A turnkey solution The 2 in 1 is a solution incorporating: - Ultrasonic heads - CAM software including automatic knife orientation - Vacuum table with holding system - Ad hoc storage - Preparation table Versatility The Creno HSC 5 axis offers a traditional milling and ultrasonic cutting quality all in one machine. It is possible to machine as well as traditional composite than honeycomb but also execute routing and drilling on bonded parts (from the skin to the core). This allows to work on a large diversity material and shaping.
