Overview: The Model 6150 Digital Air Data & Leak
Tester is designed for direct connection to an aircraft's Pitot and Static systems. It simulates altitude, airspeed, and vertical speed indicator (VSI) while performing leak checks. The tester is equipped with high-accuracy digital transducers and built-in vacuum and pressure pumps, suitable for all aircraft types, including wide-body transport and cargo aircraft.
Specifications:- Static Port: Accuracy of 0.008 inHg, range from -2000 to 60,000 ft, resolution of 1 foot, and climb rate of 0 to 10,000 ft/min.
- Pitot Port: Accuracy of 0.008 inHg, range from 0 to 500 knots, resolution of 0.1 knot.
- Calibration Interval: Annually.
- Power Requirement: 90-260 VAC, 47-440 Hz, 50VA.
- Dimensions & Weight: 18” x 12” x 7”, 18 lbs.
- Environmental Specs: Operating temperature 0°C to 50°C, storage temperature -40°C to 75°C, humidity 5 to 95% non-condensing.
Features:- Displays static output in feet, meters, inHg, or mbar and Pitot output in knots, kmph, inHg, or mbar.
- Includes protection against over-range and negative airspeed, excessive leak rates, and pressure surges.
- Precision metering valves for fine control of altitude, VSI, and airspeed.
- Simultaneous leak checks on Pitot and Static systems with constant display of actual values and accumulated leaks for 1, 3, and 5-minute intervals.
- Operates on aircraft power (110 VAC/400 Hz) with no warm-up time required.
- No maintenance needed other than yearly calibration.
