DM58 Preamplified Digital Microphone-1

Preamplified Digital Microphone The L3 DM58 preamplified digital microphone provides an ED-112A-compliant integrated Cockpit Area Microphone (CAM) and preamplifier functionality. The microphone output may be either analog for current generation Cockpit Voice Recorders (CVRs) or digital for next generation recorders. The inclusion of an ED-112A compliant preamplifier benefits customers by reducing system part count, size, and weight. The integrated microphone and preamplifier also supports modern glass cockpits where a traditional CVR control unit / preamplifier is not desired. TSO approval simplifies certification for aircraft manufacturers, installers and end users.
