Product catalog summary
Overview: The KPM-1-16 is a 16-position pressure scanner module designed by Kulite Semiconductor Products, Inc. It is compatible with all KMPS Series Pressure Scanners and future Kulite pressure scanner chassis. The module features high accuracy digital compensation and operates over a wide temperature range without the need for heating or cooling.
Specifications:
  • Temperature Range: -65°F to +255°F (-55°C to +125°C)
  • Pressure Ranges: 0.07 to 17 BAR (1 to 250 PSI)
  • Operational Modes: Gage or Absolute
  • Proof Pressure: 1.5 times rated pressure up to 300 PSI (21 BAR) maximum
  • Burst Pressure: 2 times rated pressure up to 300 PSI (21 BAR) maximum
  • Resolution: 24 Bits
  • Total Error Band: ± 0.2% Typ. (± 0.5% Max.) or ± 0.1% Typ. (± 0.25% Max.)
  • Electrical Connection: 10 Pin Custom Connector
  • Weight: 0.05 lbs (22 Grams)
Design and Compatibility: The module uses a patented design with a silicon on silicon integrated sensor VIS® and a fully active four-arm Wheatstone bridge. It includes 17 “O” ring face seals and is secured with 3 flat socket head screws. The module's temperature correction coefficients are stored internally, allowing for easy integration with any Kulite pressure scanner.
Environmental and Physical Characteristics: The module is designed to withstand linear vibration up to 10g peak, sine 10 to 2000 Hz, and has an insulation resistance of 100 Megohms @ 50 VDC. It is intended for use in test and research and development programs.
Customization and Development: Custom pressure ranges, accuracies, and mechanical configurations are available. Continuous development may result in specification changes without notice.

PRESSURE SCANNER MODULE KPM-1-16 SERIES-1

Ikulite PRESSURE SCANNER MODULE KPM-1-16 SERIES • High Accuracy Digital Compensation • No Heating or Cooling Needed • Wide Temperature Range -65°F to +255°F (-55°C to +125°C) • Mates with all KMPS Series Pressure Scanners • Silicon on Silicon Integrated Sensor VIS® • Patented Design The KPM-1-16 is a 16 position pressure scanner module. This module mates with any Kulite KMPS Series Pressure Scanner as well as being forward compatible with future pressure scanner chasis from Kulite. The temperature correction coefficients for the 16 on-board sensors are stored in internal memory. This allows for easy mating with any Kulite pressure scanner. Modules with different pressure ranges and modes (differential or absolute) can be attached to the same KMPS Series Pressure Scanner allowing for a multirange scanner. Modules can be individually replaced allowing for great flexibility during a test and easy replacement between tests. 1.5 Times Rated Pressure to 300 PSI (21 BAR) Maximum 2 Times Rated Pressure to 300 PSI (21 BAR) Maximum Fully Active Four Arm Wheatstone Bridge Dielectrically Isolated Silicon on Silicon 17 “O” Ring Face Seals (0.017” x 0.040”) Included 3 Flat Socket Head Screws (2-56 x 0.5”) Included Note: Custom pressure ranges, accuracies and mechanical configurations available.
