The heaters will secure warm up of even the largest type of aircraft including cargo aircraft. They are designed to operate where electric power is not available, for example on remote stands. A large fuel tank will secure overnight heating for more than 12 hours. All DELTA heaters has built in safety devices to protect personnel from all potential safety hazards. The fuel tank is made of stainless steel and mounted separately in the chassis for maximum protection. Thermostats are preventing to high discharge air temperature into the aircraft. An emergency switch is mounted beside the operation panel. The parking brake is working on the front wheels and is activated by the tow bar. Tires are of puncture free type. MAINTENANCE Maintenance on Diesel engine and burner is simple and big service panels permits easy access to all parts. Spare parts for the Deutz Diesel engine are often available locally for fast delivery. Due to a simple belt driven electric generator arrangement there are no clutches, exhaust heat exchangers and gearboxes to maintain. CONTROLS On the DELTA heaters there are operation panels with switches for fan and burner and gauges for fuel, temperature, running hours, etc. There are also indication lamps for burner shut off and engine stop. All DELTA heaters has 5 years warranty on the heat exchanger which in the long run will reduce life time cost. Thermostats are keeping the heat capacity to the most economical level in order to reduce operation cost. By using Jet fuel A the cost of fuel will be even lower. The DELTA heaters are built in galvanized steel, aluminium and stainless steel to prevent from corrosion and rust. The heaters are complete with 7,5 meter air hose (other lengths as option) with Kocoverk special adapter in stainless steel with self locking handles to accept different aircraft flanges. (Extended model available for Russian aircraft). The heater will accept Jet Fuel A for extreme cold weather conditions.
