Brownlow Primary School in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire won with an inspired poem entry: We’ve been rated “Good” by Ofsted, of which we’re very proud. But when you visit us, our railings cry out loud. After 90 years of service, they’ve seen much better days. We’d love to replace them all, but we can’t afford to pay. It’s more than a lick of paint they need, And even if we all worked at top speed, With nearly 200 metres to complete, The thought leaves us feeling beat.
