SELCAL Decoder :: SDU 1000A CVL1 About The SELCAL Decoder permits the selective calling of individual aircraft using common HF & VHF radio communication paths. The Decoder is designed so that it will respond only to the code for which it is configured & rejects all other codes. Upon receipt of valid coded signal, it alerts the pilot/crew by means of aural and visual signaling device such as a chime or lamp.
