The complete Gentex ACS delivers optimum combat protection and capability KEY FEATURES Ultra Lightweight Construction Maximum Safety and Protection The strong protective shell is built with advanced composite materials to reduce head borne weight for extended use, while an advanced integrated design reduces bulk and increases ejection safety. The helmet system’s locking dual visors (clear and dark) are certified safe to eject at up to 600 knots indicated airspeed. The system is configured with an inflatable bladder system to stabilize the helmet during high-G operations, +9/-3 G. Integration for Increased Stability Lightweight integrated bayonets secure the oxygen mask to the helmet and supply the helmet bladder with pressure from the oxygen breathing hose via the bayonet probe for added stability during critical stages of flight. This allows the helmet bladder to inflate during high-G maneuvers. Separate inhalation and exhalation valves enable low-breathing resistance while a special reflective edge provides optimum facial sealing.
