The Recorder USB Download Adapter is a USB to serial solution that replaces GE Aviation's RS-422 PCMCIA Interface kit (177090-ALL). The USB solution eliminates failure-prone breakage points, providing a very rugged solution to mitigate the risk of in-service damage. In addition, this solution is compatible with Windows operating systems from XP through 7. Refer to the table on the reverse for equivalent part numbers to transition to the new download adapter It will require the latest version of DPD (Direct Parameter Display) or IOGP (Integrated Operational Ground Program) in order to operate.
