GE H85 Turboprop Engine

GE H85 Turboprop Engine

GE H85 Turboprop Engine

Product catalog summary
Overview
The GE H85 is a turboprop engine designed by GE Aviation to deliver enhanced power and performance for high-performance turboprop aircraft. It offers a maximum of 850 Shaft Horsepower (SHP) for both takeoff and continuous operation, addressing the need for increased power in modern aircraft. The engine incorporates advanced technologies to improve fuel efficiency, increase temperature margins, and enhance performance in hot-day takeoffs and high-altitude conditions. Its design simplifies maintenance by eliminating the need for recurrent fuel nozzle maintenance and periodic hot section inspections. Additionally, features like the auto start and limiting unit for ground operations and linear throttle response reduce pilot workload and improve engine operability.
