The Semi-Automatic Propeller Controller PR1-P is designed to make flying easier and safer. With just a few adjustments, pilots can optimize their propeller settings for a smooth and efficient flight. Just set the desired engine speed and PR1-P will do all the work, displaying the target speed and the actual speed measured by the engine. It is completely adaptable to the characteristics of the various propellers thanks to settable parameters that allow to obtain the maximum adjustment precision. Thanks to its patented hardware and software, PR1-P is able to maintain the target speed with an accuracy of +/- 20 RPM, just like a propeller with hydraulic regulator. The safety switch exclude electronic control in case of failure, enhancing even more the safety of the system. The possibility of connecting an external switch to adjust the pitch from the stick grip, and the possibility of connecting an external potentiometer or Flybox lever make it unique on the market. For more visit us at: www.flyboxavionics.it Fuel injected engines such as Rotax iS series manage all sensors via its control unit, providing the engine data via two digital CAN aerospace interfaces. Unlike the standards 912-914 engines, is therefore no longer available the signal from the pickup installed on the engine. To solve this problem, the converter CAN-RPM was designed. CAN-RPM is a device that connects to the CAN output of the ECU and provides at its output an analog signal, similar to that provided by a pickup and suitable for constant-speed propeller regulators such as PR1P, PR2P and analog or digital tachometers. Once powered, the device is ready to operate: as soon as it receives a valid signal from the Rotax ECU it will output the RPM tachometer signal.
