The refueller is built on a two-axle 4x2 rigid chassis, with the control station and hose reel located on the driver's side. It is compatible with chassis from manufacturers like MAN, Mercedes, Scania, and Volvo, with a typical vehicle dimension of 10m in length, 3.2m in height, and 2.5m in width. It adheres to standards such as JIG issue 12, EN 12312-5, EN 12312-8, and NFPA 407.
The refueller features a single Ø50mm reel hose underwing nozzle capable of delivering up to 1000 litres per minute and a single Ø38mm reel hose overwing nozzle with a capacity of up to 400 litres per minute.
The tank has a capacity of 18,000 to 20,000 litres, constructed from aluminium alloy with anti-surge baffles and overturn protection. It includes a non-slip tank top walkway, a manlid with an emergency vent, and a calibrated dipstick. The refueller is equipped with an automatic bottom loading footvalve and a secondary overfill prevention system. The main pipework is made from stainless steel, and the refuelling pump is hydraulically driven.
A 4-litre closed circuit fuel sampler with a Shell water detector is included, with sample lines terminating in self-closing ball valves.
Located on the left side of the vehicle, it includes a bulkmeter register, various pressure gauges, a tank footvalve control switch, and a deadman handswitch among other controls.
This system is fitted to various components including hose end nozzle stowages and refueller tank bottom loading couplings, with warning lamps in the driver's cab.
The pneumatic system includes an air reservoir and solenoid-operated valve for deadman actuation. The hydraulic system powers the refuelling pump drive, hose reel rewind, and elevating fuelling deck.
Complies with European ADR requirements for flammable liquids, with an ATEX upgrade available on request.
The chassis and pumping equipment are painted dark grey, while the truck cab and tanks are white.
