AMAZON RIVER DOLPHIN As its name suggests, the dolphin is mostly found in the Amazon Basin, but it also inhabits the Madeira River in Bovilia as well as the Orinoco basin in Venezuela. Because of its distinct colour it is commonly known as the pink-river dophin. With a minimum length of 8.5 feet, it is the largest of the river dolphins.
